Granny is not well Saturday, April 28, 2012 @ 10:38 PM
Hrm. Twice she was hovering between the brink of life and death. Mum says that our relatives are saying that she's staying alive so she can see us. My sister said that if that is the case we should not visit her so she can stay alive longer. A few days ago was the first time I hear my older cousin cry. She called me and burst into tears when she said granny wants to see us. I was however, rather calm and thanked her for informing me.

I really should try asking for leave on Monday. Hang in there granny.

Gotta get my ass out of here. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 @ 5:40 PM
Ya. I can't stand working in my school already. I guess it's one of those periods of saturation whereby one finds it hard to continue anymore. To be honest, much of this stems from my 2 technical classes, funny how I got my 2 most difficult classes in the last few months of my service. Some of them are so bad and so rude, one would want to throw them down the school building there and then. Complain to discipline comm, also like that. Everyday is pretty much the same, there isn't anything much to look forward to. Day in day out, lessons, projects, CCA, remedial, fishball noodles, kuay chap, lor mee, macaroni and bak chor mee (I'm reciting what I eat at my canteen mon to fri).

Which is why I must go.

I've begun questioning myself what impact have I left on the kids, and how much I have actually helped them accomplish what they've came to school for, if they've came to school to learn in the first place. To be honest, I really don't know.
