Feeling old. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 @ 7:35 PM 10 minutes of aerobics at home on Saturday left my calf muscles aching till now. It is now that I realise that I SUCK. Remember the days where we trained in camp together with the PT until standing was a chore! Woah miss the old days, and I am seeing my already non existent muscles melting into flab right in front of my eyes. I miss the feel after a crazy day of training!! That feeling seriously is nowhere else can get one.
I'm becoming so lazy now I don't even post pictures on my blog...the Bibimbap I had on Sunday was gooooood~ I've never ordered Bibimbap because I am afraid of the spice but it's so good I think I might just end up a convert to a Korean food fan. Congrats to Ah Tong for being the champion for the NATIONALS hao lian liao lahhhh you owe me starbucks kopi!
Yesterday was my first day training at NTU. One module a week, and the pace is SCARY. They just pile on the reading materials and notes like there's no tomorrow and everyday there's a test. I'm now taking Education Psychology and the lecturer on the first day bored me out so much I was chewing on a sweet every 5 minutes and squeezed myself on the neck to keep myself awake. If only my kids were that motivated in class as well...the school is huge man, and just walking to the lecture theatre is a chore. Today I had the luck to sit with a slightly rotund guy who had such bad B.O I couldn't help but put a finger under my nose for the whole day...

It was when my sister first told me there's a cat outside our house. My neighbour told me (That was the 1st time we talked since we first moved in) she picked them up at the staircase and kindly gave them a basket. She already has got this fat ginger cat at home that looks like Garfield so I don't think she'll keep them anyway. Anyway opening the door, BIG MISTAKE. I couldn't stand the face, seriously. One single look into their eyes was enough to activate all my motherly instincts. I wanted to keep them so bad, seriously.
But my mum, who isn't a big fan of cats, was screaming (exaggerating) her head off when they came in. Anyway, the purpose of this post is, I hope somebody would go adopt them and REMOVE THE SOURCE OF TEMPTATION to smuggle them in right now and hide them under my bed and get killed by my mum later!!!

HORLEEDAY Monday, September 7, 2009 @ 11:17 PM Recently this blog has seen some sort of revival in blogging from me. Got one week holiday ma duh. But still this holiday is rather packed la, got briefing at NTU (I'm starting my 3 months training next week), got to do some staff CIP thing by spending a day with kids from the cancer foundation on Friday.
So far work has been pretty good. I actually feel sad leaving the school for 3 months because I've gotten quite used to the environment. The staff are nice, the kids are starting to recognise me around in school (and outside), and I've got some really fun colleagues.
Went to NTU for the briefing today and immediately got lost because the campus is so damned huge. There were a lot of AEDs in this intake, and my mum was like "Yah you can find a boyfriend there!" But pfffftttt half of the men in there are obviously mid-career switchers la...the 3 months course sounds pretty intense, and I'm not supposed to miss any days of the lessons. One week one module and one assignment I think. Scary. I remember this pregnant lady asking if she were to deliver the baby during that time would she fail the course not, and everyone laughed.
Hoping to catch up with you guys soon, and although I just feel like lazing around at home and playing Sims 3 during this one week holiday, a meal with buddies gives no room for excuses! :)
