Which was actually quite cool. Initially I thought I was going to sleep in tents, bathe in open cubicles and use smelly toilets with houseflies circling the toilet bowl, but I was wrong, WHICH WAS A GOOD THING.

We slept in chalets! With beds! And air con! (But no tv)

As somebody who has been sleeping on a single bed for the past 21 years, of course I'll choose the single bed. And good thing I didn't sleep on the double bed because the two teachers were complaining to each other that her blanket was robbed by the other.

Complete with swimming pool. Some of the kids saw it and were so jealous. HA!

The food isn't 5 star hotel standard but it was pretty decent la. I'm not that picky.

The best and worse thing about the place? The surroundings. There isn't a shop anywhere, there's no tv, and no computers. Time passes really slowly here, and all you're surrounded are hills and the calls of nature.

Sunset.

A bit abrupt. Sorry.

Well that was what the kids did at camp.

Roll in the mud. No kick la. I remembered my P5 camp made us go into a shoulder deep swamp.

Mud is good for your skin!

Jetty jump~ I wanted to try but I didn't want to end up getting wet so I just sat there taking pictures of the kids.

Indiana Jones. A bit tacky but is harder than it looks.

Kayaking! The sun was so strong and hot I didn't feel like trying it out anymore.

3rd day, Trekking! There are no man made trails, and I was so busy looking down at my feet trying not to trip over and to kill any leeches that may latch themselves onto me.

Panorama of the place. Nice place! But super hot!

My students. It's nicer to talk to them outside the classroom.

Some places were too steep so we had to climb up.

Outdoor cooking! Complete with maggots in your mess tins! Or so I heard. I didn't find any in mine.

I didn't have any, but I helped to cook for the teachers.

I think it's better than what the army people get eh?

We had this short cultural exchange session with the locals as well, and we learnt how to fry kerepek. I think the auntie must be thinking I cannot get married anytime soon because my kerepek looked so bad.

The kids really liked my camera. They kept wanting to take photos with it.

Learning how to fold newspaper baskets.

School's been really busy recently, as well as life. Last Friday I attended the first wedding dinner in my life and it was such an experience! I was the english speaking MC for the night and the 7 course dinner was super filling. I almost gave up at the 5th course. I was rather nervous la but I think being used to standing in front of the classroom speaking to students with their eyes on you did help to calm my nerves a bit la. And I felt that I've never looked prettier, wahahahah!

Anyway, I had no idea weddings costed that much. Crazy. With that kind of money I can already travel around the world liao.
