![]() Lol. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 @ 5:07 PM I now know 3 other people share the same birthday as me! How cool. And they're all Indians! How cool lol! BAKUTEH! Saturday, December 19, 2009 @ 12:30 AM I want to eat bak kut teh. I think you guys know what this means... but must wait for Yiwen, MK and Amanda to come back! Happenings made short. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 @ 12:40 AM Life's been pretty happening recently. Lots of meetings and goodbyes. Finally finished my 3 months course, although I still have my practicum to complete before I graduate. The last few weeks of school passed by so fast, just when I eased into the nomadic style of studying. Like a bit unreal when I think back. A little weird. So much to say but don't know where to start from. Hrm, the wonders of human dynamics. Working for a week at the Tohoku fair felt much longer. My boss looks like he works for the mafia. He has slicked, combed back hair with a tanned face that'll easily frighten a baby to tears. He can't speak English to save himself, and has got a really pretty and super kind wife. He was super curt with us for the first few days and I didn't like the way he ordered his wife about. On the first sight the couple looks like a classic showa era couple, with the MCP husband and the super submissive wife, but after a few days he actually depends a lot on his wife la. Anyways sales weren't too good on weekdays. I mean, many people would buy a $4 dollar fish cake! Have to keep shouting lelong lor what to do. One really get to meet all kinds of customers working as a promoter. Customers who are so polite and kind you can't help but feel happy serving them, those boh chup and just buy, the super niao kind, and those who come to the supermarket everyday just to take samples. Think I really am growing old liao. I can't connect to the 'O' level grads anymore... Random. |
