Tired and uninspired. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 @ 10:09 PM
Work life can really be pretty no life. I got my timetable yesterday but it was immediately void today. Not that I'm complaining because the teacher I was supposed to cover gave me so much work I was mentally thrown off balance. But doing just relief is honestly really boring. Sometimes I think of doing some stuff with them, but don't know where to start. I'm going to study geography again! Boring! Dunno why they put me in geography nia. My grade in O level also not that good la please. Then got English also nia. I don't mind English, but social studies and geography, oh god please. Seriously I went to the school thinking I can help in art, then they gave me English, which is fine, then now another social studies and geography. I'm complaining yah but how you expect somebody to teach when there's no interest in the subject? I think I should give it a try, then if I don't like it I should ask for a transfer. Yiwen, you mentioned about life being the same old routine everyday. You know how I make myself more happy? Look forward to the holidays mannnn! And the outings with friends and whatnot and to payday too! And also to get a hobby, spend time and sharpen your skills on a weekend. So that's how I have something to look forward every week, so I don't feel so sian. But seriously, after 2 weeks of work, I'm not so sure if I truly want to become a full-fledged teacher anymore, not with the amount of paper work they will have to do, and the responsibility on their shoulders. |
