What am I busy with? Tuesday, July 7, 2009 @ 11:46 PM
I don't know but the days just seem to whizz pass super fast. Even without work my days are hectic.

Went for the Allied Educators induction today. I didn't really understand what the person presenting to us were talking about because of all the technical stuff and she didn't elaborate. She spoke so haltingly I couldn't establish a rhythm in her speech and soon my mind wandered away. But of course I couldn't do that because you know the government like to use their chim chim English and then make you confused. So half the time I was trying to drag my mind back to the speaker, without much avail though.

Anyways I still have two things to do before getting accepted. And two things I hate at that. Photo taking and medical checkup. -_- No I don't want a breast checkup my dear minister of education because I've got boobs complex thank you very much. I'm not going to let some machine or doctor touch them when my mum haven't even touched them before. And photo taking. Why do I actually have to make the trip all the way down to CISCO at Paya Lebar just to take photos, I just don't understand. Well anyway one thing I did understand from the induction was that civil servants aren't allowed a 2nd job, freelance, part-time, whatever. :( I can't understand why, as long as it's clean money, why not! $ is never enough in Singapore. I suppose I'll be holding my plans to be a freelance illustrator on hold first. Or I'll get an alias, whatever. Shhhh you did not just read that.

Some funny person called during the induction, claiming they're from some I model agency or something telling me to go down for an interview tomorrow. Well the timing's real good because they called at the time when I knew civil servants can't have jobs outside. A few weeks ago I was going to my nihongo when someone came up to me and asked if I want to try modelling. I think they bak chew tak stamp because I happened to be wearing glasses on that day and dressed super sui bian so I tio stunned for quite long and the person was like "Oh it won't affect your work one its just freelance work" and being  I was like sui bian lor try lor then today then they call me. No fate la, but anyway I don't think modeling is for me la I don't like posing in front of lenses. And I think there's a chance it might be some qi zha company because I look super toot that day.

I STILL WANNA EAT CHWEE KUEH!! With extra caipo! *stomach grumbles*
